Will this rear bar fit my vehicle?

If I place a deposit, when do I pay the full amount?
We will contact you just before your bar goes into production. We require full payment before building your bar.
Can TCC fit my bar?
Yes we do have in-house fitters, however any accessory installer will be able to fit our bars.
Where can I get my bar fitted??
We have a range of dealers that can also fit your bar, please refer to our dealer page to find the one closest to you.
Can I fit my bar?
Yes you can, however you do need a professional level of experience working on cars.Modern cars require more work to install and a higher level of experience is required.
What is your warranty?
We offer a 12 month warranty, however we continue to support our customers for the lifetime of their product.
Does it work with factory mud flaps?
No, all rear bars require aftermarket mud flaps.
Do I have to buy the wiring loom?
No, however the wiring loom will make the install easier.
Do you have a camera relocation kit?
Not yet, however many aftermarket camera relocation kits will work.
Is it compatible with long range fuel tanks?
Yes, all of our bars are compatible with Long Range Automotive fuel tanks. The slimmer variants of LRA’s tanks often look better when paired with our bars.
Can I keep my spare underneath?
Generally the idea is to put your spare wheel onto the rear bar. When the bar is fitted the spare hangs quite low. Access to your spare underneath may be difficult or restricted.
Does this rear bar work with factory parking sensors and safety features?
Where applicable, our bars are designed to retain compatibility with factory sensors and vehicle safety features.
Can I get it colour coded?
Yes. If colour coding is available for this product, simply select that option when configuring your bar and enter your paint code where prompted. Colour coding is NOT the same as colour matching. If your vehicle has paint fade it may not match.
Can I drive on the beach?
You can, but without proper maintenance and care the salty environment will damage your bar.
How do I take car of my bar?
The best way to maintain your bars quality is to keep it clean. Use PH neutral car washes, avoid strong chemicals, acids and the use of bore water as these can all cause damage to your bar. Your bar is a steel product like the chassis of your car, keeping it clean and contaminant free plays a crucial role in its longevity. Ensure latches are adjusted properly to support the arms when closed. Lubricate the latches and latch plates to maintain a smooth latch process. We recommend Lanolin Spray.
How much weight can my carriers take?
There is no load rating figure as it depends how this weight is dispersed. You can run maxtrax, bin bags, high lift jack holders, light poles etc. But avoid loading all of this onto one arm. Keep your weight as low and as close to the carrier arm as possible to avoid excess leverage. Excess overloading of the carrier arm will also effect the drivability of your vehicle.What is the lead time?

Lead times can vary depending on current production demand and the finish selected. For the most accurate timeframe, refer to the product page or contact our team before ordering.
Can I add to the bar at a later date?
Yes you can, our carriers are a modular design. If you want quarter protection hoops, they must be optioned when ordering. They cannot be added or removed after the bar is built.
The carrier combination that I want isn’t available, how do I order?

Do you offer shipping Australia-wide?
Yes, we can ship Australia-wide. Shipping costs are calculated based on your location and the size of the product. You can also pick up directly here at TCC for no cost.
